Ingredients for Sweet Potato & Tuna Cat Treats

  • 1 (12oz) can light tuna (in water or brine, drained)
  • 1 ½ cups sweet potato, baked and mashed
  • 1 ½ cups old-fashioned oats
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Silicone fish mold (or any fun shape you prefer)

How to Make Sweet Potato and Tuna Cat Treats

Mix Tuna & Sweet Potato

In a large bowl, combine the drained tuna and mashed sweet potato. Use two forks to break up the tuna into smaller pieces while mashing it with the sweet potato.

Prepare Oats & Parsley

In a food processor, pulse the old-fashioned oats and fresh parsley until finely ground. This will make the mixture easier for your cat to eat.

Combine All Ingredients

Pour the oat and parsley mixture into the tuna and sweet potato bowl. Stir everything together until fully incorporated.

Mold the Treats

Spoon the mixture into your silicone fish mold (or another fun shape) to form little treats.

Freeze & Serve

Place the mold in the freezer for 2-3 hours, or until the treats are fully set. Once frozen, pop them out of the mold and serve them to your cat as a delicious treat!
