Need a one-of-a-kind dip for your next charcuterie board? A creamy topping for your brownies? The perfect spread for a sweet-and-savory sandwich? Try this Whipped Cherry Goat Cheese!

This recipe is simple yet full of flavor. Thick whipped goat cheese and diced cherries make a surprisingly versatile snack, filling, or topping that will be the talk of your next party.

Why This Combination Works

If you’ve ever found goat cheese a bit too intense or crumbly on its own, whipping it is a total game-changer. By blending it with a little cream cheese and milk, you transform it into a light, airy, spreadable cloud. And the real magic happens when you top that savory, tangy base with sweet cherries.

Ingredients for Whipped Cherry Goat Cheese

  • 1 cup Dark Sweet Cherries: pitted & diced
  • 12 oz goat cheese: Plain and unflavored.
  • 3 Tbsp Milk: Pick your favorite or what you already have on hand

How To Make Whipped Cherry Goat Cheese

When we said this Whipped Cherry Goat Cheese was easy to make, we meant it. It only uses three ingredients: whipped goat cheese, milk and diced cherries. There’s no room for added sugar or preservatives in this flavorful recipe!

The goat cheese you find in the grocery store is too crumbly on its own to be used as a dip. But with a little bit of milk and a food processor, it can easily turn into a creamy spread that’s perfect for sandwiches, wraps, veggie sticks, and much more. We recommend adding three tablespoons of milk to every 12 ounces of goat cheese. Just add it to the food processor and whip it together!

Combine the cherries and goat cheese...

Now that your goat cheese is ready, it’s time to prep your cherries for this dish. Use a cherry pitter to pit your fresh cherries. Then take a sharp knife and carefully dice them into quarters or eighths. Now just add them to the whipped goat cheese and stir it up.

...and whip it all together!

Whipped Cherry Goat Cheese is the kind of spread that’s great on everything! We loved serving it with a charcuterie tray or with some toasted crostinis. But it does sweet just as well as savory; we loved it on chocolate brownies, too! Try it on bagels, sandwiches, or even celery slices, ants on a log-style.
